Storyline
<p>Parasakthi is set in Madras State (now Tamil Nadu ), against the backdrop of the 1965 Anti-Hindi imposition agitation that swept across the State. The film follows Chezhiyan, a principled and idealistic young man who becomes actively involved in the movement opposing the declaration of Hindi as an official language . He believes the imposition threatens the dignity, identity, and everyday lives of the Tamil people .</p>
